This Katari was born into a small cult that lived on a flotilla of houseboats in a bay of Tanzeim. Her birth was declared inauspicious by the leader of this cult, and she was given the name 'Burden'. This name became a self-fulfilling prophecy, and her life was plagued by misery. As a teen, the opportunity to flee arose, and Burden faked her own death during a storm, escaping to the mainland and learning wizardry, something that had been forbidden to her all her life. She became known as 'Bird' and set out to control her own fate.
Bird is a chubby Katari with dark brown skin and tortishell colored hair in long dreadlocks. In appearance, she looks just like a human, but with cat ears and a fluffy tail. She has bright golden eyes and tends to wear comfy clothing in warm colors.
