A wizard did it!

Bucket was number 32 in a batch of 33 golems, created and sold as a unit to handle security in the Bank of Rainport. For 50 years, it served faithfully alongside its siblings, until they were all replaced by newer, larger, and more powerful models. Not knowing what else to do with the outdated constructs, the cheapest solution was to declare them individuals, forcing each to take care of themselves.

Number 32 wandered to Dawngate and joined the adventurers’ guild, where it earned the nickname Bucket after tumbling down a flight of stairs. A guild member joked that the clattering noise sounded like a bucket, and the name stuck.

Bucket can spin its upper body independently from its lower body, allowing it to perform a whirlwind attack. Having to maintain and repair its own frame, Bucket has also become quite skilled at patching things up.
