Why hello there,

I am Jordan, also known as Surin (she/her), and I live on a wee little island called Australia.

I was indoctrinated into gaming at a young age courtesy of my father (predominately – my mother also played D&D). I started D&D before I was 10, and delved into running games by the time I hit my teens.

I was blessed with a flourishing D&D community of organised play and home games including Living Greyhawk, Living Arcanis, Living Forgotten Realms and Adventurer’s League. I spent many years as player, GM and coordinator and got the opportunity to write for Living Forgotten Realms at one point as well!

Over time I began to try new systems -a little Starfinder, and then a lot of Vampire the Masquerade – which has been my passion for the last half decade. My experience with Legend of Five Rings is comparatively recent, but as a long time lover of all things Japan – I fell quickly!

What to expect:

My style is a little admittedly eclectic depending on what I’m running. From fluff encounters, to social scenes, the fantastical and even the weird. But my true love is emotionally driven high grit narratives. I enjoy creating moral conundrums, sparking character defining shifts, creating content that focuses on the realties of society we turn away from, and playing at the contradictions that make up the core of L5R. I love facilitating personal plots and I also love love! Many of my NPC’s can be romanced. So if you do wish to try and pursue them feel free to state your intentions in your character channel. Just know, I suck at poetry.

I run a combination of PbP and Voice, and will be running both in Australian times and ones compatible with other regions.
