Ichiro Tetsuo was born the first son of his family, named in honor of Tetsuo Kenzan, a celebrated Ichiro warrior who perished nobly in battle defending the clan’s borders. With Kenzan’s death, his signature estate vanished from record, lost to time and war, leaving only stories of iron resolve and unflinching duty. From childhood, Tetsuo was reminded that he carried not only a name, but a legacy. The expectations were clear: steadfastness, discipline, and reliability were not aspirations — they were obligations.
He trained rigorously as a grappler within the Badger Clan, excelling in restraint and close-quarters control. Alongside his martial training, he apprenticed under a retired Kaiu engineer to learn the discipline of the forge. During one fateful session, molten metal spilled across his face, leaving him permanently scarred. Though injured, Tetsuo refused to abandon the craft, returning to the forge as soon as he was able. The scar became a quiet symbol of his iron will — and a reminder that precision and perseverance demand sacrifice.
Now serving as a magistrate and enforcer, Tetsuo approaches every task with methodical focus. Under stress, he narrows his world to the fundamentals — training, discipline, and the work before him — sometimes to the point of tunnel vision. He carries the weight of his ancestor’s name heavily, driven by a deep fear of failure and a determination to prove himself worthy of it. Whether restraining a criminal, maintaining his equipment, or quietly preparing hot pot after a long day, Tetsuo strives to embody the strength and reliability expected of a son of iron.
