Yukimura grew up with a fisherman's family near the City of the Rich Frog. Later, separated from his parents fended for himself on the streets of the city, living by trage of the fisherman, gathering herbs and in no part thanks to friends around the geisha house.

Yukimura staunchly believes in honest work, gloryfying what can be done with one's hands. If youre miserable as a Rokugani you need to work harder, and change your destiny. It does not just happen, it needs to be earned.

This staunch ronin has his own battle from fate, with newly awakened abilities, which many would see as a blessing testing his own worldwiev and integrity.
