It’s time to move fast, stay quiet, and tilt the scales of diplomacy before the sun rises. We’re diving into a high-stakes, delicate infiltration of a minor officials home in Toshi sano Kanemochi Kaeru.

A minor courtier—ambitious, strictly punctual, and currently a thorn in your employer's side—is scheduled to attend a crucial treaty negotiation early in the morning. If he arrives on time and prepared, his silver tongue could ruin months of careful political maneuvering. We need him delayed or distracted, which will ut him into a difficult position, as being late would be interpreted as disrespect and not taking this seriously.

"The man is a creature of habit. Every morning, before the sun breaks the horizon, he drinks from his favorite celadon teacup. I need you to slip into his private estate and apply this clear, tasteless, and highly potent purgative powder. He won't be able to leave his chambers for hours, let alone attend the negotiations. Do not harm him—an assassination will invite the magistrate's hounds. Just ensure he is indisposed."

Ground Rules for the Mission

The Golden Rule:

Come prepared. Make sure you know exactly what your Ninjutsu and other techniques do, and that you understand the rules for them before the game begins. We won't have time to flip through scrolls mid-heist!

1. Attendance & Sign-Ups

• Restriction: Characters with the school tag Shinobi will have the highest priority for this adventure. Characters without at least 1 Rank in Skulduggery won't be accepted.
• The Grace Period: If you give advance warning that you're running late, you will be granted a 30-minute grace period. Failing to show up within those 30 minutes (or missing the event with no warning) means forfeiting your spot and taking a standard no-show penalty.

2. Pacing & Response Times

To maintain the thrilling momentum of a live event, players are expected to respond reasonably quickly.

• You have a 10-minute window to post your action.
• Exceeding 10 minutes without communication may lead to a forfeiture of your action.
• Need more time? Simply typing "I'm writing, give me a sec," asking a clarifying question, or communicating with the GM will instantly reset your timer.

The Clock is Ticking (4-Hour Real-Time Schedule)

This is a Momentum Challenge where every minute counts. We have a tight window to bypass the estate's defenses and execute the sabotage:

• Hour 1: The Briefing. We set the scene, gather intel on the estate's servant rotations, and map out our entry point toward the private tearoom.
• Hours 2 - 3: The Infiltration & The Sabotage. Infiltrate the estate, navigate the nightingale floors, locate the prized teacup, and carefully apply the resin without leaving a single trace.
• Hour 4: The Clean-Up. Cover our tracks, vanish over the compound walls, and ensure the target and his staff remain blissfully unaware of our tampering until the tea is poured.

Note: In case we finish one part sooner than expected, we will move on to the next part sooner.

• Initiative: Roll Fitness + Focus at the start to determine the turn order.

Skills in Play

You’ll need to be versatile to navigate a paranoid courtier's estate. Expect to use:

• Sentiment: To read the servant patterns, time your movements perfectly, and predict the morning tea preparation routine.
• Skulduggery: For the "heavy lifting" (bypassing intricate cabinet locks and flawlessly applying the resin).
• Fitness: To scale the estate walls, balance silently along the rafters, and contort into the shadows to avoid the gaze of patrolling guards.

Choosing Your Approach

While Air (finesse), Water (adaptability), and Earth (thoroughness) will be your bread and butter, don't count out a Fire-fueled sprint or a Void-touched moment of intuition if the security measures or a restless servant catch you off guard!
