Hanz Report Summary

• We helped Raum to barricade the attacks towards his new friend, an owlbear. She's protecting her egg.
• 3 Waves of attacks. Goblins, hobgoblins, we took down every one last of them.
• The final wave, a 'seasoned?' adventurer came in and strike us. We manage to held him and his mount off, and kill him on the spot.
• They all are infected with Mind Hive Disease.
• I manage to extract some samples. Probably going to do some research about it later.
• After the fight, Raum said something unexpected. The egg didn't even belong to the owlbear! After we connected the dots, the egg was actually a red dragon's egg.
• Elliana and Eden persuaded the owlbear to relocate to another safe place so that there would be no attacks in the time being.

Today i've been hired by this man named Takashi, they seemed rather polite and nice. To himself and doesn't speak much. He doesn't hit that well, but was capable at protecting himself. I only found out later that apparently he hired me to help everyone in general instead of only him, what a generous heart!! I charged him only 2gp since i like him..

But besides that, Uncle Raum had hired the group of Adventurers to help his new good friend Owlbear Mom. She's.. protecting her egg. Well.. hers that was being targeted by a group of Goblins, Hobgoblins and a dead Adventurer. They were all under the Hivemind sickness. It was a really rough battle, i disliked every second of it.. but also it got me thinking, are every combat without Dax will be like this? Grueling and tiring? Every second i feel more grateful for his existence in previous jobs.. perhaps that's why he's limping due to the Goblin encounter he had shared tale prior? Does everyone treats him like this? I get it.

Even though the group is big with a few more new faces and talented individuals, the battle was still difficult. I.. .. don't want to remember the exact scenes, but i'm starting to question on the decision i've made by leaving home. Is this all worth it? .. I know why i did it. So i should try to hold out longer..

I have yet to receive and letter from home, it is ocean apart.. i wonder when will i receive it? Or if i will.

Met with Raum. He explains he met a new friend, an Owlbear (Mama) who needed help with repelling againts raids from people who were trying to get the egg back from her after she rescued it from the goblins.

Went to cave where she and and the egg resided. We took our time preparing for the raids.

All three waves of raids are successfully repelled.

We discovered that the egg doesn't really belong to her, and it's actually a red dragon egg.

We told her it's not safe to keep it, or to for it them to stay in the cave, because the place is compromised and the actual Dragon-mother might be looking for her egg, and may cause destruction to everyone near.

Mama told us she once saw a dragon north from the cave, somewhere around the volcanic mountain.

We asked Raum to help us looking for a safer location for the egg. He told us he would be going north, and we wont be seeing him for a while.
