The Argos Family is an anomalous noble lineage in Highspire- possessing a supposed 'gift' from the All-Seeing, granted to their bloodline many an age ago. Each generation, their firstborn heir shall have the gift of prophecy, and the melody of their voice shall be followed by not just awe and wonder, but whispers of future triumph and tragedy. With each generation born, the gift is lost by the prior, meaning they have historically been extremely selective about who they allow to marry into their ranks, lest a poorly-raised seer use their gift for nefarious purpose. The gift causes the members of the bloodline to possess strange, otherworldly characteristics- in equal parts terrifying and enrapturing.

The latest generation of Argos were a further anomaly- born twins, both with the gift, but with a caveat- one always sings of good fortune, the other of tragedy- and only one is ever right at a given time.
