### Backstory

Maki was born in the wilderness, he could not recall whether or not he had parents but did not find interest in the topic. He spent the majority of his life surrounded by more beasts than men and less comfort than predators. He learned very quickly how to survive in the wilds and began to search for thrilling adventures just as quickly. It has now been 3 years since Maki decided to leave the wilderness. Picking up roguish talents and interests very quickly due to their similarities with his own honed talents and sly interests, he began thieving, questing and brawling in the slums of Highspire at the age of 18, 1 year after leaving his vast and unforgiving homeland.

### Personality

Maki is a very cunning and humorous person. He enjoys a joke more than any other form of commentary and will often make them when he feels like they are inappropriate. He is a daring and competitive man with a devious grin constantly smeared onto his face. He dislikes affection and would rather an ally question his capabilities than care for his wounds, he takes pride in being entirely self reliant and yet always accepts a gift of ale. Maki is incredibly quick-witted and perceptive, often times his quick thinking and unwavering senses will save him from unkown dangers. When they do not, his adept knowledge in stealth and tactics come to their aid.
