Backstory

The Voltaris family were once of noble birth in Highspire.

However, due to differences in philosophy between the Voltaris and the other families of Highspire, the Voltaris did the right thing and isolated themselves decades ago—finding solace in an island that would later come to be known as Viridian. They lived a peaceful life, a life where they practiced songs (spells) in peace and quiet.

When the Adventurer's Guild came to Viridian, they found the Voltaris flourishing due to their mastery in the four domains of songs: Feroxius (Red, Damage), Proteus (Blue, Defense), Mobilium (Yellow, Movement) and Neutrium (Green, Support). But their dominance in magic frightened the same people who were the reason for the disagreement that led to the Voltaris exile, and so, the Voltaris were attacked and wiped out in their sleep.

Tertius is the last to survive. Armed with Voltar, a weapon that signifies Voltaris leadership, and a vengeance that knows no bounds, he came to Highspire looking for those responsible for the massacre.

He will avenge them. He will destroy whoever was responsible.

Personality

Tertius is a staunch believer that actions are what speak the loudest. Hence, he barely speaks himself, but shows his opinions and preferences via actions—as such, he is a man quick to act against injustice, but also has the foresight to know when not to fight as well.

Despite his stoic nature, he still carries a lot of anger and guilt in silence for being the only survivor while also wanting to horribly end those that agreed for the massacre to occur.
