Backstory

Silas was born on Malleator as the third son of one of the blacksmiths, and while his older brothers naturally picked up the forge work, he never quite fit in. His favorite part, however, was testing the blades that his father had finished, going out to the yard to throw the daggers at an old wooden post to test the balance. The ones that didn't pass testing either got remelted or discarded. Silas didn't see the point in throwing out these discarded blades, so Silas began keeping them for himself, practicing when no one was around or awake. Over time, his collection of knives grew and grew, and people started calling him the bandolier.

Once he turned 18, his father told him that he had to make up his mind: either start working as a full-time smith in the forge, or go out and find a job elsewhere. With that, Silas was off, deciding to head to the main island to start his new life out as an adventurer.

Personality

Silas is a pretty stand-up, fun-loving guy; he loves a good joke and likes to show off the many knife tricks he's learned over the years. He loves it when people underestimate him, because then he gets to watch their expression when it turns out his knives aren't just for decoration.
