Backstory

An orphan child of the slums. Adira went from life in the orphanage to living on the streets as a petty criminal. She might have remained trapped in that life had the All-Seeing not had other plans. In a desperate moment she struck down an enforcer for one of the crime families, earning a price on her head. With nowhere to go and no resources to speak of she fled upward the only way she could; by joining the Guild and hoping it would take her far away from the slums.

Personality

Adira is still immature and short on good role models. She's self-centered and just starting to come to terms with the role her newly found abilities might demand of her. Used to fading into the background and trying to survive she's unsettled by the possibility of becoming a leader and champion. She expects to have to defend her position in a ruthless pecking order and her thinking hasn't yet caught up with the idea that she might now be strong enough to climb toward the top.
She considers the current social order deeply flawed and resents that it left her and others abandoned in the slums. To her, arts and education are decadent luxuries reserved for people who don't have to worry about their survival and don't appreciate their good fortune.
