Krindle, a goblin sorcerer, leads a group of goblins and an ogre family. These goblins used to serve a bugbear named

7 years ago the goblins lived in a ruin under the current location of the wizard tower... and served a very scary bugbear named Karrg the Unbleeding. There were 60 souls slaughtered by a group of adventurers... and the survivors moved south and met the Bonesmash ogre family, where they have lived ever since.

    • Was captured by adventurers and sold to the wizard Merthin Weathe.
    • Endured torturous experiments before being transformed into something else - a Frankenstein's monster like combination of goblin, human, and orc body parts.. with one goat leg.
    • He does not know if the other victims survived - but he escaped through a hidden tunnel and was pursued by mercenary adventurers.

They live at a lakeside southeast of the dragon lair.

They have a good collection of food supplies and gear taken from failed civilized folk adventurers. They do not raid the nearby human settlement. They raise goats for a rather stinky cheese that is delicious, and Tok does an amazing job of cooking up food that is hunted/gathered.

Rumors:

1. Krindle has been defeated by the wizard and his companions in the past, and does not believe it can be defeated without assistance.
2. The fair coven, downstream (keep right), would likely have way to stop down the wizard, but it's a coven of hags and... no one is convinced that is safe.
3. If you find yourself in a web infested part of the forest. The fair coven can probably already see you.
4. A druid's grove circle about a day west of the wizard's tower might not take kindly to unnatural experiments. Humans are incredibly gullible when dealing with their own kind, and Krindle is not sure it's possible to get the humans to deal with the problem wizard.
