Hyssop was an elf who lived in Mother's Forest among the treetops as a forest soldier guardian. When the corruption hit she was lucky, as she was only at its borders and was thrown clear of the terrible transformation. Her memory was badly affected and her body was twisted by the rot into something that looks like a Tiefling. She vowed to seek Vengeance on whatever may be harming the forest and stop any other evil in the land, to stop this from happening elsewhere. She pledged this Oath to Mother herself, seeing Mother as her god figure and selecting aggressive or corrupt spells as a result. She now avoids the forest though, deeply saddened by what's happened, but will try to seek a solution through her blade.
