A young fire Genasi with flame touched hair of orange and gold. He bears some weather markings across his skin from long travels to both the scorching desserts and frigid tundras. He wears light breathable clothes that are easy to move within and wields two light blades.
Tristan owes his existence to the genies who blessed his family. It is his understanding that Genies cannot create nor take life directly, and so when a wish is made where servants are required, they travel back in time and grant boons to a family with an understanding that they will serve the master of the genie when the time comes. Tristan's family was one of these. His first lifetime was to a master who wished to be a king, Tristan acted as their general servant, pouring wine, helping them dress, doing all manner of chores for the wisholder. Eventually the wisholder was assassinated by disgruntled peasants as Tristan watched on, helpless as he was sworn to do no harm. With that he was released from his bonds and the timeline restored where he would live out his days as a nobody, a merchant travelling the desert dunes, or at least so it seemed.
The genie, powerful as he was, was also somewhat lazy, so when a wish was made for an army the genie sourced families who had served a partial wish, but not the full amount. Tristan's family was one such and so their boons were redoubled, his ancestors lived a life of comfort, illness never plaguing them for long and regional troubles miraculously skirting their holdings. In return, Tristan was enlisted in the wishborn army; he was trained from a young age this time around, keeping many of his memories whilst gaining new ones. He marched, trained, fought and eventually died for the wisholder.
The third time was mere chance. The wisholder wished for a friend who would remind them of their time with the genie, and so the genie brought forth one who had served before, one whose family had already been granted the elemental boons. He brought the whisholder Tristan, who would be a loyal friend to the whisholder till his last days. They spoke for hours on end, played cardgames and travelled together. they enjoyed the fruits of the wisholder's other wishes together and they truly were close. They grew into old age together, reminiscing of the good old times, right up until their times were at an end. His wisholder friend died a peaceful death, passing in the night. In the morning when Tristan found him, he found too a familiar entity, the genie was there once more, with a gift to go with the grief. As a reward for three lifetimes well served, Tristan would be granted one of his own. A fresh start, young again, with the knowledge of times long lost.
He was granted his youth and his freedom to pursue whatever path he chose, however his mind was too full of the lives he had lived to hold onto his newfound one this time. What was once a sharp mind, a keen eye for the unseen, one that allowed him to be ready before he was called, was now a slow a dusty thing. Tristan is forever grateful to the genie who granted him such a boon as to live out his life so many times, let alone the gifts he granted to his family, and vowed of his own volition to further their elemental splendour. With his final lifetime he would embody how he saw the genies, and would serve the worthy in their wishes.
