Kallypsis Romazi, or Calamity, was once the star performer of a grand theatre, her bright, sunny disposition and cheerful melodies drawing crowds from miles around. However, her final show ended in disaster when a fire consumed the building mid-performance, turning the stage into a roaring inferno before the final act could be sung.

Calamity survived, stumbling into the cold night with smoke in her lungs and the sound of panicked screams still ringing in her ears, but the rest of the troupe perished in the flames. Reeling from the trauma, Calamity learned to harness darkness, finding inspiration from hardships and power in failure.

Now, every song she plays carries the echoes of her troupe's voices, each note a fragile thread tying her to their memory - and lamenting the sadness of that fateful night.
