Snivel is small, even for a Kobold.
He no longer remembers his true name, that was beaten out by the Crimson Guard.
His dusty red skin is covered in scars, burns and areas where the scales never quite grew back properly.
He is missing a horn on his head, and instead there is a jagged stump where the horn once was, covered by what appears to be a worn leather glove.
He is perpetually nervous and unsure of himself.
Prior to arriving in this strange land, snivel was part of the Crimson Guard, an adventuring crew that belittled and abused him.
Krogar the barbarian would hit him for speaking and is resposible for the missing horn. And, although he remembers the suffering he no longer remembers the name.
Elara the wizard would burn him when he used magic, stating that a filthy lizard shouldnt have access to the weave.
Rodrick the bard crushed his spirit through nasty songs and cruel jokes.
Garret the paladin wouldn't even look at him, sure of the idea that this kobold was filthy.
The one light in this otherwise horrible life was Lysandra, the cleric, a kind halfing woman who would repair Snivel each night.
Snivel reached breaking point when the barbarian forced a heavy rock into his hand and forced him to kill his own puppy, The Scruff, or face death himself. After the deed was done the poor Kobold was left broken and afraid in a ditch for the wild to take him.
He survived, although he has never forgiven himself, his mind is fractured and broken from grief and guilt.
Snivel carries around with him what appears to be a large, smooth stone that is strapped to his chest... he doesnt know where it came from and why he has it... but its always warm and is where the magic comes from.
(Little does Snivel know, the large slate is actually the scale of a dragon)
He is dressed in a hessian potato sack with arm holes cut out, and his hands and arms are bandaged with what appears to be very old rags.
