Myka Blackthorne is a half-blood vampire.

He and his twin brother battle the hunger. They involve themselves with different aspects of the vampiric power.

Myka is a gentleman, a animal lover and is always true to himself.

He was living of the land in the woods preying he would escape his vampiric father Count Blackthorne. He could see pillars of fire destroying the forest when the Nautaloid disrupted them and they were taken.

He hasn't seen him since but he can still hear his fathers voice in his mind, taunting him. Driven by cowardice he had embraced a deal that would enhance his vampiric powers as a way to protect himself, but this has only made 'The Hunger' worse.
