The party wanted to find out what a certain item they got from Callum’s previous adventure did. It was found within a mutated Drow Body that had become a multi-armed monster. It gave off a magical aura.

They found out after confering with other travelers that a spot in the Northern Crater Coast area would be a good place to search. They found an underground ruin like area that was seeped in Transmutation magic (found via Detect Magic). They used the stone from the previous adventure to open a wall like archway. They explored shifting environments, a strange workshop, found multiple bodies mummified by age, and eventually discovered the code phrase to open another sealed door.

The room led them through strange magical shenanigans to a corridor and small room, holding a journal, multiple papers, and an old map of the norther regions With eight marked spots (Including the site they were in).

The also encountered a strange huge creature with shifting skin that became stone, flesh, and crystal, demaning to know ”Where is the Eighth”. The party fled when it got distracted.
