The party ventured into the northern end of the Elder Forest, to find an Elf Ruin. Once there, they progressed at a steady pace, picking up some items along the way. Poppy, the Druid, was giving a vision after interacting with a strange flower. It showed some elves of varying species, and a single drow. It then showed the drow mutating into a monstrous being with multiple arms and crimson eyes. After some puzzles, (a couple usurped by neat ideas) the party found themselves at a deep location underground. There, was Aelith, the Drow now mutated into a beast. The party chose to flee the location, aiming to slow the creature down with magic and environmental tactics. Its words echoed out as they ran. “Running? After seven hundred years... you are the first to find me. Go, then. Tell the forest what you found beneath its roots. Tell them... Aelith still remembers. And when you return...bring more.”
