Day 2

• In Cleaver’s

• Family, horses and dog have been killed

• Could have been dead for 4 days or last night

• Young woman near grain silo, man on porch

• Have been mauled, torn apart, chunks missing, corpses eaten

• They smell of bugbears

• Killed by adults

• Three sets of tracks

• Normal winter, not especially harsh

• Goblins = more mouths to feed

• Talk to other farmers on the land, they’re growing winter crops

• Buys a bag of grain from second family for 5gp; they’re mad their neighbours are dead

• Koen investigates “nest” - temporary nest, no adults, juveniles and larvae

• No adult tracks

• Kinda crappy nest, just enough to stay warm, juveniles gathering food, seem well fed

• Paro nature check

• If nest unsuccessful, moved slowly

• Diet: omnivorous, preferred food is meat

Day 3

• decide to find bugbear matriarch, head west
• Fight
• Pull out heart, very buggy, eat it in front of everyone
