Located just across the river from the walled city, Vye's Academy has international renown for its well-versed academics. While educational institutions within Efera hold more prestiege with arcane academia, and the Soulful Crafters Academy in Nonu is by far the most advanced in regards to its own specialist fields, Vye excels at being proficient in educating in nearly every significant field. Its curriculum is based around the Royal Mereta Initiative, a statement of intent and series of guidelines that the Twisted Monarch established centuries ago.

The Royal Mereta Initiative was a series of guidelines that bind the capital academy of Greater Mereta to ensure the future of education for the Kingdom. While the accompanying statement is public knowledge, the guidelines themselves are highly confidential.
