The Mercenaries Guild in Vye has considerable influence and a long standing relationship with the governance of Greater Mereta. Their role in the Proscriptions have granted them notority throughout Essepa. They have many times acted in association with the City Guard, Quintors and Military to help uphold peace and secure resources of interest. Alongside this, their services are also avaliable to the public for a cost. Due to this, the Guild is split into two branches: The Supplamentary and the Hired.
This branch of the Mercenaries are on standby to assist official forces and other guilds when needed. They have squadrons dedicated to Enforcement, Military and Hunting.
Enforcement is usually found in conflict with the Rebels emerging in Vye, but occassionally work with the City Guard in a more generalised manner. The Military squadrons aid in times of crisis, but are also often found assisting in training exercises in Polus Reach or further afield. Hunting Squadrons are sent out in times of crisis to tackle sudden and hazardous threats that have tread too close to the city.
This branch is the general membership of the guild, split further into two approaches: Guardians and Offence.
Of the Guardians, there are Escort members who will assist with protecting moving clients and packages, and Post members, who will act as stationary or patrolling guards.
Of the Offence, there are Brute members who will act as an offending force on a group of targets, and Stalk members who will target specific individuals.
The Mercenary Guild is led by their Directors, the highest ranking and organisers of the Guild.
Below them are the Commanders, those who are assigned on Guild matters. This could be to arrange training and resources, or it could be taking on a complicated matter and assigning work.
Then there are the Operators, specialist and equal squadrons that are arranged to deliver specific work.
After this, the structure becomes much mroe cohesive with set parties of Mercenaries. Each party is led by one to three Captains, the rest generally made up of Mercenaries themselves. They may also adopt up to two recruits each, whose time is split between the party and training.
