Within this wooden cabin shop is a clean, cool parlour that offers respite to summer heat. Furniture is made of the stainless white wood from Cassira Grove in the northern isles of Essepa, chairs and benches decorated with delicate silver paint and pale blue cushions. The only light within comes from Nyx Lanterns, providing a gentle pale light that produces no heat.
Fruit cocktails are brewed up in steel vats, concentrated into colourful blends. Customers choose a size and shape of mould, which is then filled with the cocktail. Friyl then freezes the liquid within the mould, forming it into a popsicle.
During particularly warm days or festivals, Friyl will also fill small heatproof pouches with fruity crushed ice mixes. These can be added to any drink to transform it into a cocktail, soda or a simply flavourful drink.
