After it was interpreted....the following was written:

"Master Evont,

Your request to examine the blade called the Last Edict has been denied for the third and final time. It remains within the Archive-Vault of Caer Veylan, beneath the Ninth Seal.

The weapon was forged with fae magic during the last years of the Federation. The oldest accounts claim it could recognize broken oaths and wound those who betrayed them. Whether this is truth or soldier’s legend, I cannot say. Enough blood has already been shed over the question.

If this refusal does not dissuade you, nothing will. The old northern road reaches the vault where the river divides around three black stones. Look for a white archway built into the mountainside. There will appear to be no door.

Do not descend beneath the central archive. The custodians posted there have not answered our messages in nearly a year.
