I, Nereza, received a letter from my grandmother a matron of the Sisters of the Ashen Veil.

"The elder sisters and I have begun to notice a troubling pattern among the dead. Their spirits are awakening and pass through the village. Some are ancient, others newly departed, yet they have forgotten their names and the lives they lived before they passed. They speak only of a voice calling them to the still black waters of the southern marshes.

We believe there is something there that is stirring the spirits and drawing them there. My little raven, gather your companions and learn what is disturbing their peace. You must put an end to this unrest."

I do not know what exactly waits for us in the marshes and I cannot promise much treasure, but I feel the need to help these spirits be put to rest. Please help me if you feel similarly.
