A jet black raven appears in Last Lantern with slightly glowing eyes and what appear to be runes on it's wings. It carries a piece of parchment. It looks around before flying over to Vex and releasing the parchment into his hand. It speaks to him.
"The Arch Druid calls on you young one. Complete your task to preserve the natural cycle of the elements."

Vex nods in silent understanding, as if he had been preparing for this moment. He unfurls the scroll to reveal druidic script reading:

"Vex,

Since before the Ashwall fell, for centuries the spirits of the wilds had lived in harmony with the environment and civilization at the same time. However, since the fall of the Ashwall more and more spirits have been enraged and a corrupted, much like the one that destroyed your clan.

We have received warning of a new spirit that has been corrupted in much the same way. The spirit resides a few days travel to the East of Last Lantern. It is with great caution that we send you to put this spirit at peace if possible, but if peaceful resolution is not possible, a corrupted spirit cannot be left to roam the wilds.

Use the utmost caution and please, return safely."
