The party set out to the west, investigating the surrounding region. They saw a huge rock hill in the middle of the region and dubbed it "Bukit Bintang". As they approached the landmark, they got attacked by a large creature, a giant scorpion. During the combat, the party managed to identify that the giant scorpion is not an organic creature, but rather a construct. Before the creature went into berserk, Kananrokiri managed to interrupt the process and forced it to retreat, leaving an unknown metal chunk behind.

The party then continued to scout the region and managed to map two other landmarks: Khaliqout, a ravine in the south, and Khutwaat, a hidden structure beneath the mountains in the north.

Exploration Log Day 1

• We headed west and found a hill we named Bintho’ang. There, we encountered a gigantic scorpion. It was clearly far stronger than us, but naturally, we fought it anyway. During the battle, one of our companions nearly died before we discovered the creature was inorganic. Eventually it overheated and fled, leaving behind a thick yet strangely lightweight piece of metal covered in rune-like circuit from the giant scorpion.
• Further south, we discovered Khaliqhout, an enormous canyon with a sheer drop beneath it. The opposite side was only about thirty feet away, yet crossing it was far more dangerous than the distance suggested, so we have to find opposite path.Goind north we found a narrow opening between steep mountains, which we named Al-Khutwaat. When we tried to approach, an unseen force field violently pushed us back and left me badly injured. Further observation suggested the passage might lead to a long-lost civilisation. Rather than enter recklessly, we decided to return and report the discovery to Outpost back to the east
