All Ierx remembers before waking up to a concerned Hedge named Skrit standing over him is the sound of someone calling his name, and the faces of his wife and child. Once he got his bearings, and was told of where he was, he thanked the bard and went on his way. Afterwards, he spent some time exploring the town and eventually met Erali Thorne, who taught him the way of stealth and sleight of hand in exchange for his help with a job she was tasked with. After parting ways with Erali, he chose to wander in the hopes of finding his family, figuring out how he ended up there, and getting his memories back.

He is plagued by nightmares of his wife calling his name, being separated from his family by something he can't quite see, and sometimes, though he is not sure if it's actually there or if his mind is playing tricks on him, he swears he sees his wife out of the corner of his eye or his child running past when in large crowds.
