Backstory: A natural outcast from her people, she had always had difficulties getting along with others in the feywilds. she could feel the magic around her, watching the ones around her dance in the light but for some reason, it never came to her. The others laughed, kicking her out whenever she wished to join with them. with nowhere to go, she went against her nature and stuck to the shadows.
For decades, she was alone wrapped in the darkness. she felt it change her body, the way it gave her power. it wasnt magic, she was sure of it. it responded to her body movements, like when she threw a punch, there was a power there she couldnt understand.
Then one day she heard something, that the goddess went missing. to those that could find her, there was a prize to become the ruler. maybe this could help find friend? but there was a problem, how was she to get to the material plane? for decades, she looked for a way. large families with proper connections went ages ago, but for a nobody like her, she was trapped. she had to wait, wait for her power raised enough that she could now hide her presence. it was then, she could sneak into a planer shift.
what awaited her was nothing like she had seen before. instead of the bright greenery that she was use to, it was a dark cave city with races she had never seen. with a bit of easdropping, she could make out talks about some type of mist, forcing people underground. to most of her kind, it may have been torture, but she saw this as an opportunity. why be friends with the fey that hate her, when she can make friends with the material plane races.
Personality: due to being an outcast, she has developed quite the inferiority complex. she is desperate for friends, but will often be overwhelmed by shyness. she has a mild case of photophobia (fear of light, not the discomfort from light), and will often be shifty when forced directly into it.
