Ekno used to be a large tarantula and her den was a great place for her to have a space she owned, however there was one thing that was annoying her everyday life, a statue she had to leave undamaged. She grew tired of the statue and thought the god forgot about the statue entirely. So she pushed it over and it shattered on the stone, and she was happy it was finally gone. She went on with her daily life and when she woke up the next day, she was taller, and had hands. She turned into a Drider. She kept trying to live her normal life however she felt horrid and ashamed, and barely a few months later she got sick, and after a week of feeling worse than being burned alive she finally started getting better, and went to a medicine merchant, and waited until night and stole some of the medicine, and got better days after taking it. This happened a few more times over the next few centuries, and she got caught stealing once, and she had to kill the shop owner before they called her to the guards, and she got the merchant but was lightly wounded while doing so. After over 910 years she finally felt normal in her body, that doesn't mean she was free from the curse, everytime someone stared or even whispered about her lower half she felt worse than ashamed however she at least was comfortable in the streets of some small towns, and even the backroads of some major towns. But she at least started to feel better at using her lower half, starting to climb walls and even stealing things she didn't need to live. And she kept traveling and pawning items off that she didn't need to live. As she was talking to a ghost, Afra went over to her and listened, and was happy that Ekno was talking to a ghost as if it was a friend, and after the conversation Ekno and Afra talked a while Ekno eventually kept coming back every few days to talk to Afra and the ghosts. Never landing a job but never landing in the view of the guards, and even talking to a few that have already passed, learning what skills they wanted to share, and she even got a few friends from it as well. After walking into a bar she saw Atlas, and hearing about him she didn't want to even attempt to steal near him, however the fact that Atlas was staring at her the entire time, it made her feeling ashamed going to pure hate near him, as she was assuming he either knew she was a criminal or that he was staring because of her spider body.
