Magical Moths

Strange moths are appearing around the desert layer and dig site, their numbers slowly increasing as they seem to migrate from the depths of the caves.

Casters passing through the are have noticed these colourful fluttering insects to be drawn to their magic and components pouches, occasionally nipping at them with magical sparks when shooed away.

A rather eccentric biologist is seeking assistance in investigating these creatures and tracking down their source, seemingly quite concerned for some reason.

We were requested to retrieve a box mechanism that was radiating some sort of magic, which was altering the behavior of moths that have taken nest in the desert layer, they consume magic and for now the ecosystem seems to be unaffected by them, they also seem to be much less aggressive after we removed the box, sadly in order to do this we had to take care of three big swarms to save a running Warlock that was part of our party.
