Tempest Skydancer was born to an Elf mother and Djinn father, raised in a Druidic Circle with her older brother Zephyr and younger sister Iris. She was always friendly—she once calmed a charging bear with nothing but her voice.
When she was twelve, the ruler of a nearby city decided to expand. His soldiers burned her grove to the ground. Tempest and her siblings escaped the flames but were caught by the tyrant himself. He looked down at them and said, "These three will do." Tempest wild shaped into a spider and crawled into a crack in the earth. She stayed there, trembling, as the soldiers' boots thundered overhead. When she finally emerged, they were gone—and so were Zephyr and Iris. That was the last time she saw them.
She buried her family alone. She never found Zephyr or Iris's bodies. She believes they're still alive.
She wandered for a year, lost and grieving, until she discovered she could hear whispers in the wind—the living weave of Entia calling to her. She followed them here.
She believes in one thing: Change. The low are lifted up, and the high and mighty are brought down.
She's slow to trust. She's lost too many friends. And the best way to get her to do something is to tell her she can't.
She carries a stone from her grove, a lullaby Iris used to hum, and a promise she made standing over six graves.
The tyrant who took everything from her is still out there. She's looking for allies. She's looking for answers. And she's still looking for her siblings.
Because she never found their bodies. And the wind hasn't told her they're dead yet.
"These three will do."
Those words will be his last.
