The town of dry spell is facing a bizarre crisis: the local cattle and beasts of burden are rapidly starving to death, despite eating normally. Simultaneously, a handful of local miners and farmhands have developed an insatiable, obsessive craving for dry, raw grain and iron filings, completely ignoring actual meals.

The town mayor or a desperate rancher offers a reward to find the root of this "wasting sickness" before the town completely collapses...
