I am a simple guy with but only two goals in my quests: tell a story and have fun. My quests are roleplay first, everything else second. You can bypass almost anything as long as you can find a way to rp it (and it makes sense, of course). That being said, I am rather strict when it comes to wording and mechanics (sometimes). Outside of Rule of Cool and DM Fiat, my quests will default to following RAW over RAI, homebrew included, for the sake of consistency and less arguing about different interpretations. Unless it doesn't make sense or it's stupid. Then in that case, screw RAW.
