Hello chat. I am Dust. I am in your room. You should clean it.
My timezone is GMT +5:30. A far-off timezone but scheduling is the bane of DnD anyways~ I greatly enjoy quests that are either mid-ranges (5-12) or high power (17-20+) so you can expect me to run those level ranges.
DM rules
- Please try to get along with the rest of the party and cooperate. Helping each other will be rewarded in both roleplay and combat.
- Flanking is a +2 if you and an ally are surrounding an enemy. This becomes advantage when 3 or more allies have surrounded an enemy. The same applies for enemies surrounding allies.
- All potions are BA to drink yourself, action to feed others. Only exception is Health Potions where it is also BA to feed others, but using your action will give max healing to whoever you feed it (including yourself).
- Prebuffs that last 8 hours or longer are always on. Those that last 1 hour are dependent on my whim, but will be declared when I post the quest. 10 minutes or below must occur within initiative on your turn.
- To keep combat flowing fast, please read all your abilities and know what you can or cannot do. Automate them if you have not (or get someone else to help make the automation). Try to plan your turns out before the initiative catches up to you.
- If you are going AFK, please warn beforehand and mention for how long. If you go without warning, there will be a 5 minute wait for you. If in combat, you will be skipped. If in RP, it will simply go on as if you were not there. Anything you want to do but couldn't will not be retconned in this case.
- As long as it is reasonable, feel free to RP and explore. If there is a check that you would like to make, RP it out accordingly and ping me in the OOC chat with what you would like to roll. I will then decide if the skill is appropriate or if the roll is even necessary, and then you can roll.
- More rules will be added as I run games. Most I believe would reflect my opinions on 5.5e
- I use 2014 Grapple Rules, but with the additional allowance that Monks can use either Acrobatics or their Dexterity with Athletics for initiating a grapple.
