Rules & Important stuff
DM Rules:
The Golden Rule: The first and most important rule: Respect others. Everyone’s here to have fun, tell stories, and roll dice together. Keep things fair, kind, and enjoyable for all players and the DM alike.
Fair Play: There are no dice rolls or PvP conflicts between players unless both parties explicitly agree to it.
Disputes, tension, or conflict should always stay in-character, not personal.
Strings of Fate: Your choices shape the world. As DM, I act as a neutral narrator. I do not favor PCs or NPCs. Every decision carries weight, and actions (or inaction) have real consequences in the story.
The Voice over the Sword: In and out of combat, strong characterization and clever thinking can change outcomes, earn rewards, or open new paths. Exceptional moments of RP may shift the flow of events entirely.
Coordinated Strikes(Flanking Rules): If you and an ally stand on opposite sides of an enemy, both of you gain advantage on your attack rolls.
Monsters with Pack Tactics gain additional bonuses on top of this.
Weapons with reach can be used for flanking.
Ranged weapons do not qualify for flanking, this includes Thrown weapons.
If three or more allies surround the same foe, the effect is always active for all attackers.
Swift Draughts: You may drink a health potion as a bonus action for rolled hp or as a full action for full healing(max rolls). Same applies when administering the potion to an ally.
A Living World: This world is alive and responsive. The gods watch closely, and the boundaries of what’s possible are fluid. If you want to attempt something unusual, just ask. Magic and fate may surprise you.
Boundless Magic: The spell Anti-Magic Field does not exist here, not in any form, scroll, or secret archive.
Magic is an intrinsic force of the world itself. It cannot be silenced or nullified.
Game Difficulty / Quest Legend
Game Types:
Mission: (RP = Combat )
Lore: ( RP > Combat )
Trials: ( RP < Combat )
---------------------
Special Quests:
Guild Quest: A quest commissioned by one of the many guilds of Altharion!
mostly run for the following:
The Ashen Veil
The Argent Mark
The Black Hand
Prize Hunt: A quest to seek out specific, valuable loot!
These quests typically contain more danger
Transformation: A quest where you may find yourself... changed. Some call it a curse.
Typically some of the most dangerous/difficult of quests I run.
Difficulties: (listed in ascending order) Easy → Medium → Hard → Nightmare → Vin Difficulty
Easy: Poses little real danger to your character’s life. Expect minor bruises at most.
Medium: A modest threat. Some blood, some injuries, but you’ll walk away.
Hard: Some of your party might fall unconscious or gain a few scars. A cleric may be needed.
Nightmare: You’ll need everything you’ve got to survive. Failure could mean your name etched on a gravestone.
Vin Difficulty: Death walks beside you. Even a single mistake could wipe out the entire party.
Quest Type:
Linear: A structured path with 2–3 main routes that all lead to 1 of 2 conclusions.
Choice Based: 4–6 branching paths with varied outcomes. Choices matter, but the scope is focused.
Sandbox: Freedom reigns. You shape the story, my job is simply to try and kill you or outwit you.

Info on me
As a DM~
I’d still consider myself a relatively new and inexperienced DM, even with 100+ one-shots under my belt, mostly because I’ve never actually run a full campaign. I only started DMing in March 2024, so I still get things wrong sometimes and might need a moment to clarify rulings or look things up.
I handle most of the homebrew on this server, largely because I have a not-so-secret obsession with letting players explore unique mechanical ideas and concepts. I use a lot of homebrew myself, so expect plenty of DM rulings and flexible interpretation, I’m not a fan of following RAW or RAI to the letter. My goal is to make things fun and dynamic, even if that means bending the rules a little.
If you ever need help with homebrew design or balancing, I’m always happy to give input! Just know that I can be… an interesting person to work with when it comes to HB. (There will be math. Lots of math. I love calculations.)
That said, I’m a terrible coder. I can only manage simple stuff.
As a person~
I’m currently about to enter university and am under 18. So if I occasionally don’t understand certain slang, social norms, or references, that’s usually why (that and being homeschooled).
My availability depends a lot on deadlines, some weeks I might run quests every day, then disappear for two weeks. It’s not ideal, but it’s out of my direct control most of the time. Especially around exam season.
I’m studying: English Literature, Business Management, Physics, Mathematics, Art & Design; Feel free to talk or discuss topics with me, im almost always in the mood to learn more about the subjects.
As for hobbies, I’m a musician (piano and guitar mainly). Every now and then, I might share music during quests to set the mood, usually something from YouTube, though sometimes it’s something I’ve recorded or composed myself.
I also love cooking and baking, and I spend a lot of time experimenting with dishes from different cultures. I really enjoy sharing recipes and learning new techniques from others, too.
