In the familiar world of Faerun, the Rymroc clan has been quiet among the nobility of Cormyr for generations. Although technically considered part of it, they were not very public about their influence. Most of its members were members or commanders of the Purple Dragon Knights, and were said to be the descendants of Thauglor (the black dragon the founders of Cormyr defeated) himself... hence why the rest of the nobility was wary of them. But at some point, when technology gained more influence in the region, while the rest of the noble houses were caught up in their politics and rivalry, the Rymroc clan slowly gained some recognition among the people due to their leadership during some of the wars fought during this time, even though they were not too involved with the technological advancements. They were seen as redeemed from the horrific acts of their ancestor. However, most other noble houses of Cormyr view them with scorn still.

Drasilia was born during the upswing of the clan's reputation, training with the Purple Dragons from a young age and frequently interacting with the common folk. She quickly learned the importance of these folk and their rights, and grew skeptical of the practice of slavery. These viewpoints isolated her from the clan a bit, but garnered a bit of sympathy with fellow soldiers. And so she set out for a new land to find a new life... and in it, she found love, in a drow dhampir woman named Zarra. They got married in this new land and took the new family name of Dragonheart... but after a series of unstable political conflicts in that land, they fled right back to Cormyr, where they lived happily for a while.

But this didn't last. Drasilia got lost in the nearby woods one day and found herself flung through a portal. There she received a mysterious vision: that she had an opportunity to start over in yet another world, but would be separated by the one she loved by time and space. With a heavy heart she accepted this, and ended up in this hub world. Little does she know, though, that for Zarra, nearly a century had passed since she left...
