Everything he'd been taught about the glory of battle had been a lie, and nothing could bring back the people he'd once held dear; to find his purpose once more, he'd escaped his life of bondage to carve out a path towards fulfillment. He'd become more than a weapon or an object; he'd correct the weakness in himself that he believed killed his village and find peace, and who he wanted to be, without the shackles of violence weighing him down.
