Solas Virwynn is a 168 year old high elf philosopher, normally seen in white robes with black accents. He wears a necklace with a green gemstone almost constantly, a gift from the harpy who had once saved his life. Although he's quite certain he's better than you, a byproduct of his spoilt lifestyle, he is an advocate for treating people with kindness.

Solas dreams of writing a study about the artificial reconstitution of magecraft, which states that the traditional spells used by mages may be enhanced significantly, using quintessence- transforming spells into a more stable form, as well as providing an amplification to the magical attunement between the spell caster and spell at the time of spellcasting.

Despite his promise as a mage and scholar, he was banished from his family estate due to his "delusions of grandeur", the fact he would advocate against the continued prosecution of the monstrous races, and his unhealthy obsession with one day finding a monster wife- a deed that would bring great shame to the Virwynn household.
