Karlus was a street urchin. From this lifestyle, he learned how to take what others left unguarded, and how to fight when silence failed. He kept to himself, a prideful, stoic human amongst the alleyways. Until a single theft gone awry. The noble he stole from was not outraged, he merely smiled and arranged consequence. Instead of prison, the noble sent hired blades and a quiet contract: return what you took, and triple it, or be handed to the city watch; or worse.
