Gleb is a curious creature, as they came to consciousness as a wizard's experiment who delved into putting consciousness into oozes and ooze adjacent beings. These consciousnesses though came from other living beings as the wizard figured this was an easier approach rather than tapping into the inherent intellect of the oozes. The outcome of this is Gleb, who ended up escaping from the labs with a little friend along for the ride, as they both learn of this world they find themselves in.

Gleb themself is a blue plasmoid with an ever shifting black/brown blob within themself, who they refer to as 'friend' (aka the Mimic). Gleb themself is quite smart from having years of watching the wizard who created them, and is quick to pick up on things even though their social skills and awareness to the world they interact with is subpar.
