Backstory: Kuro was like any typical bandit, and as part of the Zhentarim, his fate was secured in the fast life. Eventually, he figured there was nothing else for him in the world except being in the gang, until he met a girl, and her name was Lisa.
One day, he had plans to meet with Lisa for a date, but his gang leader had other plans. They went to raid a crypt that they thought was full of riches. They were wrong. Whatever was inside that crypt was let loose, and everyone died.

Kuro awakened, days later, with his dead crew all around him. He felt different. He felt Hungry. He began to eat and feast on the blood of animals and then to other humanoids. What was he now?

He tried to find Lisa. When he did, she screamed and ran away. It was hard for him not to chase her and to eat her. It took everything in him to stop his hunger. He is a monster now. He accepted, he will be nothing else in this world but a monster.
