Catalina Blackcastle is the 5th child of a landed knight. Her father was an excellent duelist, but her brothers did not take up after her father and were more interested in chasing court ladies than practicing swordsmanship. Catalina however, takes after her father, including her no nonsense demeanor and seriousness. Catalina's father confessed he wish she could have inherited his titles and estate, because her brothers would not be good custodians oh the family lineage. Unwilling to settle down to a life of marriage and childrearing Catalina left home in search for adventure and to make her own mark on the world.

Catalina is 5 feet 9 inches tall, with dark lilac colored hair and eyes, she wields a longsword and chainmail that is stained black.
