Prebuffs on World Bosses

For World Bosses the decision has been made to limit prebuffs to only spells that have a duration of 8 hours or more, and are level 3 or lower. Upcasting of those spells is allowed. But higher base level spells, such as Heroes' Feast and Foresight, are not allowed to be cast "freely" as a prebuff. They must be cast in-quest, expending their resources. This includes spells from items, such as from Enspelled Weapons/Staffs/Armours. Class freatures and other effects that last 8+ hours are also allowed as prebuffs.

DM table rules

• VC is required. You chose if you want to talk or not, but I will be using VC for above table communication, questions and clarifications.
• Here to have fun: Banter is great as long as everyone is civil and respectful.
• PvE only: There won’t be a need for PvP. In the rare cases that PvP is relevant it’s only allowed on the condition that every involved party agrees.
• The Warden of Bones and his spikes can not be flanked.
• Grappling: 2014 grappling rules. Monks can use dexterity (athletics) when initiating.
• Shot or chug: Common and uncommon potions can be used as a Bonus Action, other potions take an action unless otherwise specified. Drinking a Potion of Healing with an action gives max healing.
• The I in RAI: Sometimes the rules are clunky or silly. If the rules don’t make sense as written, they can and will be changed.
• Fuzzy environment: There are limits to what I might describe in a scene. If you’d like to use something that wasn’t described, it might be there after all, within reason.
• In the moment: Everyone is expected to be present. Real life can happen, but give a heads up before going afk. If you’re inactive for 5 minutes when your turn comes up, risk losing it. If it happens repeatedly you risk removal.
• It’s your sheet: Learn your character before the session. Questions may arise, and that’s fine, but you are expected to be able to pilot your character.
