A nearby forest has been experiencing an unusual phenomenon lately: the seasons are out of whack! Trees with blossoms stand adjacent to fall foliage and barren snow-laden branches. Temperatures vary widely just by walking a few feet. The wildlife doesn't know how to adjust, many animals sticking in those tiny regions in the season they prefer.

Our druids and rangers who have scouted this area have either come up stumped or have disappeared. And so we, the inhabitants of the nearby small elven/fey town of Gildenborough in said forest, have decided to quietly recruit the help of some adventurers to find out what is causing this seasonal disturbance. We'd rather not get tied up in faction disputes if we can avoid it, after all... even though some of you may belong to factions, just keep it quiet, okay?

House rules: No flanking. Healing potions can be used as a bonus action (to either self or others) to heal the rolled amount or as an action to heal the max amount (e.g. a regular potion of healing would heal for 2d4+2 as a bonus action or 2x4+2=10 as an action).
