There has been rumour among the whispers of the people of Nemisa. The sand weary, those who come back from traversing the desert with hallucinations or grand claims, have all been saying the same things now;
There's an Oasis to the south of the city, about two or three days travel. But there can't be an oasis in Solcrata, it would never last... So, what are they talking about? Síoraí has called for adventurers to gather and come help her investigate.
DM Table Rules:
- The rule above all else - Respect others and I. Everyone’s here to have fun, tell stories, and roll dice together. Keep things fair, kind, and enjoyable for all players and the DM alike.
- Consent is Key: PvP in my sessions is entirely disallowed, unless both parties involved consent. If those not involved bring up an issue with the PvP, you will be made to stop, and can solve it out of session.
- Weapon of Choice, Pen or Sword: Combat can be entirely avoided if the cards are played right... Or, can spontaneously happen if they're played wrong. You choose your path, and hope the others don't write in branches for you.
- Flanking Rules: Flanking is turned on, so long as there is an ally withing 5ft [10ft if they have a reach weapon] of an enemy, flanking is considered active.
- This goes for monsters too, if players have it, so do monsters.
- If three or more allies surround the same foe, the effect is always active for all attackers.
- Alternative Potions: If you spend a BA to drink, or feed someone else, a potion/healing draught, then it will be rolls as normal. If you take an action to do either, then you may reroll rolls of 1 or 2 a total of ONE time, taking the new result even if they're a 1 or 2.
- A Living World: This world is alive and responsive. The gods watch closely, and the boundaries of what’s possible are fluid. If you want to attempt something unusual, just ask. Magic and fate may surprise you.
- Use What You Have: You have resources. Maybe they've gone unused. Give me an idea, tell me what you'd sacrifice. I'll let you know if I agree or not and we'll work something out.
- Knowing Thyself is Knowing the Truth: While I am happy to teach people normally, I will not tolerate needing to teach people at my table. Please come into a quest knowing how your abilities work, your spells, your weapons, effects, feats, items. Everything. If it needs automation, please get that automated ASAP. If you don't, you may find yourself barred from my table until you do. I will ask for proof if this happens more than once.
