MISSION POSTING: A FORTRESS BESIEGED

TO: All Capable Mercenaries and Adventurers

SUBJECT: URGENT - Strike Team Needed for The Southern Fort*

“We’ve been hammering the outer walls for two days with nothing to show for it but dead men. The Southern Fort is overrun by a massive tribe of goblinoids, and they have the main gate barred shut. I have an army ready to retake this land, but I can't march them through stone walls. I need a specialized squad to infiltrate the Fort, locate the gate mechanism, and open the way for the main force. Once that gate is up, we charge. Expect heavy resistance. Scouts report many combatants and their numbers are growing. If you fail, we all die here. If you succeed, the spoils of the Keep are yours.”

PBP, OBR, Level 8 Quest, Up To 6 Players, 3-4 hrs

Every action has a reaction of either a consequence or a responsibility. Choose wisely.

Flanking is adv to attack rolls for all party members when 3 or more allies are 5ft adjacent to an enemy creature. This applies to monsters too.

Rule of cool: State your action and depending how "cool" it is, the DC will be lowered. Roll a d20+PB+Ability Modifier closely associated with your cool action. If you have DM Inspiration, this action is free and does not consume your action.

Lastly, if you feel unsafe in any way or you have an emergency irl, don't hesitate to inform me in any manner you so choose. If you have a concern with something I'm doing as a DM or another party member, inform me in a private message to solve it together as adults. If you don't want to play, no one is forcing you to stay.
