Cinnabunn's first memories of her life is the arrival at Alsburgh, where she immediately fell in love with the monastery. Once her people had been given refuge within, Cinnabunn asked her elders for permission to learn from these people and adopt their beliefs and way of life. The elders approved, their goal being to adapt to this new lifestyle and bring prosperity to what remained of their tribe through peaceful means and service to their new community. Over time, Cinnabunn would learn the religious practices of the local people and adopt them as her own beliefs. She would take to practice with the monks of the monastery, who preached peaceful actions and trained in martial arts merely for self-defense and as a form of worship to their God, who found the arts beautiful. When she was not training in meditation and martial arts, she was being taught to do good for the commonfolk not simply for her own feelings, but because it was the pious thing to do.In her time among the villagers, she would feed those in need, she would help farmers with their land and animals, and she would learn to inspire through musical talent and demonstration of her practices.
Though Cinnabunn's immediate family had died in the journey between realms, her elders passed on to her what knowledge they had of her families history and practices. Cinnabunn kept the few pieces of her families history she had with her, an amulet that held her family crest which would also become a part of her holy practices, a prayer her father would say every night to ensure protection of their family, and finally the way in which she wore her hair being directly inspired by a practice her mother had. Though some of these were adapted to match her new religion and practices, they were the only connection she retained to her family and she cherished them as she grew into adulthood.
---PERSONALITY---
Cinnabunn is a quiet and pious individual, often taking time to contemplate what action is best to take (or not to take) based on her religious beliefs. She has full conviction that her God and her people will not lead her astray, and though she is fully committed to her God she believes others deserve the right to decide for themselves who to worship and how they practice their worship. Throughout her life, Cinnabunn has gotten certain "feelings" about events and actions around her, and these have been referred to by her teachers as Cinnabunn sensing "omens". These can be good, or they can be bad. Though she is quiet, Cinnabunn will not stand for someone talking down to her or others and has no problem stepping into uncertain situations when she believes it is the just thing to do.
