Chateauclair Citadel

Known as the Shining Castle, a majestic castle-city that rises up from the coastal waters. It is the largest elven city in Gildas and a fabled locale within the realm.

Ser Lionel Tahir, revered as the Anointed Lord of Chateauclair, is an elderly elven noble who seized power centuries ago in a ruthless and inspired coup, toppling the old noble orders to forge a tyrannical, unified elven destiny of his own. Recently elevated to cult-like divinity by the monks of K’Hara, Lionel rules by decree and through the pedestalized status his people have given him. The Tahir embodies the belief that elves must remain a singular, sacred force at the heart of Gildas. His family name, Tahir, has since become synonymous with sovereignty itself, and his lineage—sprawling with sons, daughters, and the enigmatic Tahir Boy—forms a living pantheon around his throne. Relentlessly militant, suspicious though publically serene, Lionel sees the chaos of Gildas as proof that only elven hands are fit to shape its future.
